The path to attaining the Freedom of Full Liberation by means of the awakened inner energy is known as the Yoga of the Siddhas that we also refer to as the Siddha Path to Total Freedom. It is called the easy or spontaneous path because lifetimes of the arduent struggle and practice utilizing many different spiritual techniques is replaced with the initiation given by a Siddha Guru or Shaktipat Guru, making the practice necessary for Liberation spontaneous and free-flowing.

There is a vast spiritual energy inside you that lies dormant. Shaktipat or Shakti Sanchar is the awakening and full expansion of that inner spiritual energy, also known as Kundalini Shakti. People receive Shaktipat to awaken Kundalini, and to revolutionize their Meditation practice. Those who have had a lapse in their spiritual practice or feel the need for additional support, also return to Supreme Meditation Intensives and receive Shaktipat. This Kundalini Awakening is the transmission of energy that makes Meditation more spontaneous while invoking healing. It is known as Ruh in the Sufi tradition, and the Holy Ghost in the Christian tradition. Shaktipat deepens and accelerates your spiritual practice.

One of the biggest complaints among seekers and yogis who have experienced some type of initiation is that they begin to have good meditations when sitting in asana with their eyes closed, but they don’t experience the joy and peace of their meditation when going about their daily mundane activities. They feel great in meditation but, once they are up and about, it’s life as usual without any lasting change in their experience of the mundane world or the people around them.

Shaktipat is given in every Supreme Meditation Intensive. Acharya Kedar has a specific approach to giving Shakitpat that is known as Initiation into Shiva Consciousness. Students of Supreme Meditation have openly stated that receiving Shaktipat from Acharyaji is "like being touched by the hand of God." This specific initiation is based on the principles and techniques set forth in the Shaiva Tantras of The Spanda School of his lineage.

Through Acharyaji's spiritual power, a seeker begins to experience God’s two aspects and The 5-Fold Act of Divine Consciousness reverberating in one’s being. This form of Shaktipat also sets in motion a process where the seeker begins to experience all the stages or levels of Manifestation (tattvas) within one’s own being, from Earth up to the absolute Paramashiva (the one, formless God).

This Kundalini is awakened and guided to full expansion by a perfected master of yoga, a spiritual master (Siddhacharya or Siddha Guru) who has received the power to do so from his/her Master. The experience of Shaktipat is similar to that of receiving energy from a healer for removing illness (this is a form of shaktipat), only more powerful and lasting in its effect due to the dormant Kundalini being fully awakened.

After this spiritual awakening is received, a purification process begins whereby, over time and with regular Meditation and spiritual practice, Kundalini pierces and purifies all of the subtle energy points within the physical and subtle body (the subtle body houses the ego, the intellect and all of the psychic instruments).

Over time, this process leads to a person becoming completely established in his/her own Joy, with the constant awareness and experience of God inside and everywhere. Through the nurturing of Shakipat by daily spiritual practice, the student experiences an inner unfolding of awareness that leads to increasing states of higher consciousness.
