The purpose of our path and programs is to aide you in establishing a steady, daily spiritual practice. The dirt of ignorance and the leanings and tendencies responsible for the cravings and desires that prevent you from experiencing your own Divinity are very rooted deep within your being. The only way these can be removed is through an active, dynamic spiritual practice that will consistently quiet your mind in order to allow you to experience your heart.
Once the mind becomes quiet on a regular basis, you are able to experience that place of Peace, Ultimate Tranquility, Permanent Joy, and Total Freedom within your own being on a regular basis. To have and hold this experience, you need the boat known as Grace and and the oars known as Self-effort. It is Grace that begins and sustains the process. This Grace is acquired through the receipt of Shaktipat. Once this spiritual awakening has occured, daily spiritual practice is necessary in order to nurture the awakened Kundalini (spiritual energy). Students of Supreme Meditation are engaged in this practice. It is an easy, spontaneous practice, sometimes referred to as shaktipat meditation due to its focus on the movement of the rising kundalini shakti (kriyas).
The spiritual practice taught here is a program of Supreme Meditation, Chanting, Prayer/Contemplation and Seva (selfless service). Each of these practices is supported by Acharya Kedar's instruction in The 5-Fold Act of Divine Consciousness which is the central teaching on which our spiritual practices are based.
Powerful techniques for daily Meditation and Chanting are taught in our programs. In addition, there are ongoing opportunities for students of Supreme Meditation to engage in the transforming experience of Selfless Service. Prayer and Contemplation are also taught as part of our programs. The practice of making a tithe or Offering is also a part of the Supreme Meditation practices. Without a steady, daily spiritual practice, there can be no success in Yoga.
Our program of study begins with the Shaktipat and The Supreme Meditation Intensive.
