Om Namah Shivaya
I am shiva's finger pointing the
way to a most auspicious day

Peace and freedom of the heart
With the Acharya I can start

In the space above my head my
Guru sits upon his bed

Lotus flower raining down
in that silence full of sound I
was lost but now am found

Oceans roar, singing bowls peal

nothing I thought was real

I am Dee no more, she washed away
upon the shore

Om Nama Shivaya

Glory

My Lord is pregnant with all that there is.
By His shimmering kiss, the heavens remiss.

Each radiant stand of Shiva's luminous hair
pulsates outward filling the air.

The Guru of Gurus is nurtured within.
The Guru's gold feet reside herein.

My karmas are burning by His rust colored Sun.
When the three of us meet, Glory is done.

All that I have, I have from this One.
I want for nothing and I long for no one.

I am soaked in abundance that rains into me.
I am without lack. I am without need.

The force of this Love heaves my whole chest.
Her grandeur is tremendous, from it, I burst.

The Glory of Sadhana is in the secret of Will.
When I have been stubborn my heart has grown ill.

With offers of sacrament, my ego wipes clean.
And these eyes dissolve into laughter and grin.

I cry as I paint this face upon Mine.
I laugh as I wipe off this face and see Mine!

Love or Madness?
Love is always compared to madness
but madness is never compared to love

for love forgets itself completely
and madness is never free of itself

in this world everyone chooses
one of these two

and sinks down
or flies free

Hear the stir?
Hear the stir?
There's a rumble in my belly.
Ravenous pain of hunger...

My Guru's Love stays sweet on my lips.
Relishing each morsel of this, Shiva's Bliss.

My Guru's Grace has given me this.
I have great wealth, yet I am a beggar.

Chama Nama
From A Miracle Wrought The Other Day
great Rudras stand on mountaintop
with spear in hand near bow's release
an eye to spy then burn the rot
for minting press and cycle's need

what better thing than golden age
all corner's loved not one or two
a Patient Saint in centered page
indeed his brush has painter's hue

so now it seems neath cap of pole
a Mother's love is best indeed
to honor Both and merge in whole
my need to search for love to feed

BUT, blessings of a statesman eld
for mothered wife of flowing train
by patient nudge to never geld
from highest spot the finest rain

The Outside Is In and Inside Is Out!
My beautiful Shiva is none other than all.
My glorious Lord, the wonder of all.

From each blade of grass to each droplet on leaf,
The same Absolute resides within each.

The power of One basks Glory within.
Laugh at the mirrors and rejoices herein!

Journey of splendor begins mind dissolved.
The truth that is, has only one eye.

The real heart when open shines heavens of Bliss.
Each spark is kindled by Shiva's own wish.

I'm grateful for all from this grand O' One,
The Light from my Guru's magnificent Sun.

I swim in the Lake because of this Swan.
Suspended in Blue, hovering as all.

The Crow sails height by the Eagle's Sun's Light.
In wisdom of plight, the Magician reveals his delight.

Nothing is here, illusion is real.
Who is encased, without case, my dear?

There is nothing but all and that is all that is real.
All is Absolute, no worry or fear.

I bow to that Angel, the One Absolute,
The Knight with the Bull, who's Sword cuts all strings.

The Love that there is, is too much for just me,
Come share in the Light bestowed onto me!

All nothing is one, all something is none.
From the Lotus Feet flows Grace bestowal upon.

Beauty within, no beauty without.
The outside is in and inside is out!

Poetry as Contemplation
to you i give what seems the best
from poetry of wonderment
these damper lines from seeker's zest
as bow sent song past Eros' dint

this poetry a grasping means
twixt fears and hopes of dying ways
apologies and inner dreams
yet mostly sighs for later days

Overwhelmingly Beautiful Ocean.
In the grand ball massacres the Witness of all.
Bare in Delight, woven in cast.

Seamless perfection.
Consciousness, wisdom.

Overwhelmingly beautiful Ocean.
Open smiling heart gushes salty tears,
Of this identical Ocean.

Master cleans mirror.
Astonishing waves.
Obliterating frame's obscure notions.

Weak flesh!
Worthless is all temptation.

Invaluable Freedom,
Undeniable Truth.
Love is Divine Nature of pulsation.

Relish the Self of all Selves.
Ignorance is all but Bliss.

Burn Ego Burn
that woven silk of spider’s nest
across the path of this venture
a daunting weave and hidden weft
the rotting weed of self-censure

my Guru’s light by blown horn
does cast a beam of grace filled sight
as words fall on the rose’s thorn
and show within the ego’s blight

my heart flows forth the thanks within
that one who holds the key of keys
has stayed among to help us win
a star atop the Christmas trees

What do I know but Ignorance?
i’ve sat at feet of God Himself
and stared into the deepest eyes
what do I know but ignorance
and tasting of some hardwood wines

i love you All past Maya’s grip
yet there is One who gave me Faith
still fearing but an inch to slip
for all I know is Faith and Waste

so hear this bard: please know my heart
from barest drops that pass my lips
i’d find myself then help all else
what do I know but trident’s tips

while blind and lost on donkey horse
its brought me here with little rest
in ego's clutch on seeking north
i’ll never stop this BeingQuest

to know a part of tale spun
and still to read another book
does fight against the water’s run
and so i cleave One place to look

i’ve heard His words and in my mouth
i taste the truth from every line
what can i do but try to rouse
a sight beyond my Heaven’s wine

Absolute Bliss
I've swallowed a crow.
I know I am Blue.
Blinding bright Light within, exudes out in all hues.

Enamoring Grace.
Enveloped pure Love.
Flying into me crows from realms up above.

I've peered into the eyes of the Lord of all crows.
With one giant body, many heads...
Absolute Bliss arose.

Can You Hear?
with stiffened back and rower’s cramp
I’m rowing in His peaceful boat
yet still I’ve heard through porthole damp
the wind and wave of hero’s hope

I glance within the belly’s room
for pipes of Pan in Satyr’s grasp
that noisy wife and chatter’s groom
do seek to stop my Mother’s asp

I sense it now by upward wind
what knowledge comes by lined up fate
it seems I sit by lessened din
I pray to knock on pearly gate

tree’s veins are filled by lessened left
for listening to blowing leaves
and so I lay in quiet cleft
supported by His golden eaves

Look Closer
the flower that I seek to find
within and past my weathered vane
hidden by the trite tired mind
past postage end and traveled lane

tis closer then the purchased home
I seek me there all by Your Grace
inside the walls of crypt and loam
I kiss your feet and seek That face

my Heaven's Love did take to throat
the churning of my ocean’s loom
His apple holds my poison’s bloat
cupid’s arrow ambrosia's womb

there cannot be a single thing
higher by yet a single hair
nothing purer than sinless Zen
a Loving glance without compare

Twice Bitten, Thrice Shy
Ahura Maz of loving traits
tradition of the lightning round
did know my thoughts of cistern’s grace
accusing me of what he found

he said to drop my wishes’ ground
and cried to me admitting of
“I KNOW YOU WANT TO TAKE MY CROWN”
that final step to in above

i girdled tight past karmic war
and said to Him that mighty One
“i thank you sir, yet quest i more”
told avatar and Lordly Sun

then heard I twice a prophet’s horn
that sent me hence to Eastern moor
for sight of stag and unicorn
who said His call was lifting poor

and telling me the Zen of Pooh
He stared and said “YOU NEED MORE FAITH.
SHIVA HIMSELF TO ME BROUGHT YOU”
then closed His mouth in smile’s trace

and so to read the script that’s writ
i’ll never read another line
for with the self in effort bit
i’ll simply stare another time

Tic Toc
upon two feet we all do stand
one in the sun one in the grave
and past death's door I understand
is what we wrought in living craved

what better place than the center
standing between pain and pleasure
letting them come letting them go
the cycle turns and roses grow

what an eden this dusty spot
as someone said be cold or hot
for lukewarm stone will never grow
because we reap just what we sow
