Supreme Meditation
The Yoga of The Absolute
The focus of the teachings and practices of Supreme Meditation is to come to love this world and this Universe unconditionally, and to recognize it as God. This inner state allows you to attain all those things that you have been looking for where they are not, by finding them where they actually are inside yourself; a Heart that is immersed in Supreme Love, Total Freedom, Uninterrupted Joy, a Constant Inner Peace and inner strength, a happiness that is not dependent on anything or anyone outside yourself and freedom from fear, worry and doubt. What's there not to like about that?
It is this experience that gives the seeker or accomplished yogi the ability to be completely connected with God in every daily mundane activity, not just while sitting in a dark corner meditating with your eyes closed. The practices and teachings of our Path are designed for getting you to have this experience on a constant basis. This begins with Shaktipat.
Our programs are open to people of all faiths and spiritual backgrounds. You do not need to leave your faith, church, synagogue or mosque to practice Supreme Meditation.
The Siddha Path
To Total Freedom
The experience of God within takes you to the place of all worship inside your own being. The path that one treads to reach this place of peace inside we call the Siddha Path to Total Freedom.* It is a spontaneous path. This is the path that all the Siddhas of our lineage have tread to attain perfection in spiritual practice through the subtle channel called the Sushumna Nadi (subtle body) located in the center of the spinal canal. When the pranic force (Kundalinin Shakti) enters this nadi and becomes steadily established in the Sahasrar, a seeker merges with the Supreme Soul and attains total Freedom. A seeker of the Truth is initiated into this path through Shaktipat. This is the means to obtain union with your Natural, Free State of Being, spontaneously and without difficulty.
The scriptures of Shaivism and Vedanta, as well as the Tantras of the Eastern mystics, contain many hidden meanings that cannot be understood from the level of practical experience, without the guidance of one who has experienced those teachings and merged with the principles they represent. Also, many of the teachings set forth in these sacred texts are purposely obscured in an attempt to prevent them being used for the wrong purpose. This is why the guidance of a competent Master, established in an oral tradition, is essential for permanent transformation to occur.
The Lineage
This path has a rich spiritual heritage and a long lineage of Siddha Gurus. The line of direct and indirect succession includes many Siddha Masters of Meditation beginning with Lord Shiva.
Here we take refuge in Bhagawan Nityananda, the great Saint of modern India and the master of Acharya Kedar's lineage. Swami Muktananda received Shaktipat from Bhagawan Nityananda and became Bhagawan Nityananda's disciple. As a disciple of Swami Muktananda, Acharya Kedar received Shaktipat Diksha from Muktananda Baba, who then guided the initial stages of his sadhana and, before taking Mahasamadhi, also gave Acharya Kedar the command to take refuge in Bhagawan Nityananda -- the command that later caused Acharyaji's work to unfold. He also gave Acharya Kedar his name. This is spoken about in detail in Acharyaji's spiritual autobiography Vibration of Divine Consciousness.
In addition, we pay homage to the Siddhas of this path, whose Grace and Blessings are experienced through the Supreme Meditation teachings and practices by countless numbers of students. These Siddhas and sages include:
From Shiva (Svachandanath; Ishana, Tatpurusha, Aghora, Vamadeva, Sadyojatta) to Vishnu, from Vishnu to Brahma (Padmabhava) to Rudra (Lord Mahesha). Then there was Dattatreye to Vasistha to Shakti to Parashara to Vyasa to Shuka to Gaudapada and Mahanta, to Govinda, then Yogindra, to Sri Shankaracharya, then Hastamalaka and Totaka, then Sureshwaracharya, to Vishwarupa to Bohdhajnani to Simhagiri to Ishwara. Then Narisimha to Vidyatirtha to Shivatirtha to Bhagiradhi to Tirtha to Vidyaranya to Malayananda to Devatirtha to Yadavendra Saraswati to Krishanananda Saraswati. Then there was also Sandipani and Sri Krishna. Then came Sri Kanthanath, Durvasa Tryambakanatha, and Ardhatryambaka. Then Vasugupta and Kallatabhatta, Mukulabhatta, Bhattenduraja, Pradyumnabhatta, Mahadevabhatta, Srikantha, Bhaskara. Then there was also Sangamaditya, Varshaditya, Arunaditya, Ananda, Somananda, Utpaladeva, Lakshmanagupta, Shambhunatha, Abhinavagupta, Ksemaraja and Yogaraja. Then there was Mahabala, Trivikrama, Acharya Pandita, Utpalavaishnava and Rajanaka Rama. Then there was Swami Ramjoo, Swami Mehtabkak and Swami Lakshmanjoo. And then there was also Janma Siddha Bhagawan Nityananda of Ganeshpuri and his lineage.
What makes this path so valuable and unique is the experience of The 5-Fold Act of Divine Consciousness and the 36 levels of Manifestation of the Universe within your own being. This experience becomes completely conscious and permanent through Supreme Meditation. It is the basis for the uninterrupted Joy, Peace, Happiness and Fearlessness that perfected yogis experience on a constant basis. These are the qualities necessary for truly mastering your mind and your life. This state belongs to you, if you will claim it as your own. This begins with Shaktipat.
